TAN FORCING MALKY OUT

Mon Oct 21, 2013 9:07 pm

If Tan forces Malky out he better have a top managerto replace him because he's in for a massive shock as fans will turn on Tan very vocally.

I don't see Tan walking away either so if you think the rebrand has torn the club apart you ain't seen nothing yet.

And don't say "ooh, but look at Southampton". Cortesi got a top manager in through his extensive football connections. Tan has no football connections.

We'll end up with the CEO of Kenny Rogers roasted turnips or whatever they're called as manager.

If tan wants him out he'll wait for a run of bad results, fans won't kick up any fuss then.Lets be honest there's a lot of fans now who don't like malkys tactics and wouldn't mind if he left.

I disagree. The vast majority of fans are hugely supportive of Malky. I know a he'll of a lot of City fans - you know, the ones who actually attend games andhave done for years - and I don't know one that would want him gone.

If Tan sacks Malky then say appoints a better manager people will forget about Malky quickly.

You're missing my point - there is no way he will attract a better manager.

1 He has no football contacts

2 Decent managers will now view us as a basket case club

Fans are very fickle their supportive at the moment but a run of bad results and they'll turn on him, guaranteed.
Remember when man u fans started to turn on Ferguson a few seasons ago.

I'm sure we'll get applicants for the job and someone surely on our board has football contacts.

Also, a "basket-case club" so? As long as they are earning a good wage they won't care.

spot on.....do people realise that managers earn vast sums of money and would give it a go for the right cash... :ayatollah:

Decent managers want more than just money. Why haven't Blackburn got a top manager with all their cash from Venkys?

A top manager does not want interference from owners in team affairs.

Tan destabilised the fans with the rebrand and has now destabilised the playing side. Which is a crying shame because he has done many good things too.

Because Blackburn have gone through like 4 managers in the space of a season and are in the Championship - not comparable.

Most managers are in it for the money, it is a job after all. I'm sure plenty of Chairmen get involved and to date there has been one account of Tan being involved which was Moody being sacked. No proof of him telling Malky what to do etc.

If Malky goes I hope you lot are right and I'm wrong but I fear we'll be a Blackburn (and remember Wolves and Charlton) rather than a Southampton.

If Malky leaves I hope everyone turns against Tan

Depends who he brings in and what the results are.
The saints were up in arms when adkins left, doubt they even give him a second thought now. That's football.

Ive been going for years and I dont think Malky is the messiah that he is made out on here.

Its a game of football, its not life or death, people are allowed their opinion on the manager and his tactics wether it be good or bad.
