Impressive but with not many Coventry fans paying to go to home games and Wolves being just down the road from them, it's hardly surprising more of their fans will target away games surely?

Wonder who'll have the best average home attendance over the season in the Championship Image

Hmm, yes but they have had 3 awful seasons, club near to bankruptcy, 10pts deducted this season, nothing to play for and years of no success, no home ground, Rem Div 3 football really, it impressed me and Port Vales support 1,506 at Sheff Utd

497 fans Bury took to Pompey 250 miles

I'm not denying it's impressive but Coventry have always been a big club imo anyway and I know they have great support, so I'm not surprised they are continuing to take big numbers away when they're not going to home games. The situation at Coventry saddens me and I wish them every success in getting back to the upper leagues they belong.

Port Vale and Bury's away support is fantastic, particularly as they are both small clubs!

Rotherham taking 1,406 to MK Dons is very impressive as it's a 280 mile round trip and I don't consider Rotherham a big club fan base wise.

Your right, they are a small Club, so excellent Support, Sometimes I wonder where our support went the last few years, until we got promoted to Prem.

What?

Rotherham are bigger than you think. One of the biggest in that division and have been in higher leagues than most in that division as well. Prove me wrong.

New stadium as well so add that into the good feel factor and yes they'll take a good few away.

The Coventry fans were in the same section we were last year,we had 2,500 and it was rammed, they must have had another area of ground if they took an extra 800

Bury's away support must be the best in the league as a percentage of their home support. About one in six of their average home crowd made the 500odd mile round trip. That would be like us taking 4,500 to Hull. Incredible away support for a small club. Reminds me what we used to be like.

That explains it then. Still a long way to travel and you still have the fuel costs and food/drink costs to add on mind.
