Perez needed a big signing after his break down with Mourinho to keep the fans on side, hence the massive transfer fee. The fee was a statement if anything and not a true reflection of Bales quality.
I can't see Ramsey leaving Arsenal with Wenger at the helm. Personally I would love to see Arsenal win the league this year, don't care if that makes me a plastic because we are in the same league but the shit Wenger has taken off the media and fans alike is ridiculous.

Hes doing well, but nobody can put him above or indeed anywhere near Bale.

I thought you'd say that.

Your talking about a 22 year old player who has had the sort of injury that finishes some player's careers. It was bound to delay his potential for a year or two as the injury came very early in his career when he still had much to learn. He now plays like a player of 27/28 who has both vision and maturity, yet is only 22.

Not true. I said that Cardiff fans viewed him through rose tinted glasses.
People were saying he was "world class" before he had actually shown anything to justify it.
Yep he is in excellent form at the moment but lets see him up against the top teams and see how he does before going overboard again.
Until he does it for a full season or two, and starts winning some trophies then putting him in the same breath as Zidane, which they did on MOTD Saturday night is absolutely ridiculous.
I mean, even this thread, people saying hes worth more than Bale![]()
Im surprised no ones moaned about DJ not picking him in the final, that usually accompanies every Rambo thread.
