A forum for all things Cardiff City

8 games gone and you have to say so far its looking really doable. With Palarse and Sunderland floundering, and Norwich, Fulham, Stoke and Westham performing badly, it doesn't look an impossible proposition.
We have still got a long way to go though. This is Cardiff City, so we know its going to be a roller-coaster ride from here to the finish, and who knows what surprises are around the corner (good and bad). Im sure it wont be a smooth ride, but lets buckle up and enjoy it.

Would have been a different story if Sam and Tan were not involved tho.

Shit! I did this poll because I was wondering how confident the fans are. Surprised by the first few votes, I hope its not going to be a running theme.
With a bit of luck its just a hangover from all the crap going on at the club recently and opinions will improve over time. It is always going to be very difficult to predict how things turn out, but I would like to think at the very least we will survive. I would like to think we can finish well above the drop zone.

Personally I'm still confident of 14th

I would exclude West ham from your list. I had them down as a team that would struggle but Polo corrected me. Once their injuries are sorted I can see them being fine.
The rest I feel will be involved in the relegation fight. If we can take points of them then we will be fine.

The next game against Norwich will tell us a lot more. You say they're performing badly yet they've had arsenal, Chelsea, spurs and Everton, not to mention high flying saints who they beat.
We will have to be at our best to get anything on Saturday.

Sunderland are nailed on to go down from what I watched yesterday. As soon as we took the lead the heads went down. That leaves 2 places to avoid going down. From what I have seen I honestly think you've got enough to stay up.

What I've seen so far makes me think that we will struggle to avoid the drop. Hope I'm wrong.

I feel both Welsh clubs will stay up tbh.
Swansea experience of the premier should make it a lot more easier for them. We do need to start addressing one or two things and if we do then we should become comfortable with it all.

im still sticking with 16th.

Yes, I think we'll stay up. Palace, Sunderland and one other will go down in my opinion, but I think we'll be okay. We've shown we can score and defend against good teams; I think we're competitive enough. Just need to start putting away these chances.

If memory serves, we lost 4-1 at Chelsea in our first season against 10 men! It isn't those games that keep you up. 8 points from 8 games? I think you're in decent shape.

We've only played 2 games against teams in the bottom half of the table and both of those were away from home, yet we've still got 3 points from those games and 4 from top 8 teams. Also, we've had poor refereeing decisions against us at Chelsea which was the turning point in the game, and against Spurs, who should have lost Lloris. We will finish in a comfortable mid table.

I'm hoping we finish anywhere above the relegation zone. I predict us to finish 16th.

I have voted bottom 3. But I have thought this before the season began.
I do intend to enjoy every moment though
