Reading on the sky sports site yesterday we are the lowest in the premier for shots on target?

Not surprising there. Look at the teams that we have played so far. Anywhere near the box and they give it a go. The goalie might fumble or there may be a deflection.

When we get in the same position too many players look for an alternative route and look to offload the ball rather than giving it a go.

We have been in some excellent positions this season in and around the edge of the box but some players will not take the responsibility of taking the shot. No attempt - no goal. Easy. Cannot work out why MM does not drum this into the players because it has been going on for a while. Our goal count would increase if we shot more often.

Agree there Cowie had great chance to shoot but chose to pass why? But will say its not only city with a problem! WH had 1 shot 1st half not much better second either and they were at home!. Bottom half clubs are having similar problems especially with top 6 teams.

It's not just the striker aspect, Kimbo, Gunnar and Cowie have all been guilty of being too frightened to shoot. More often or not Whitts does but he has also been guilty.
