Jordon Mutch

Thought he had an excellent game today and thoroughly justified his selection from the start.

Made some very strong runs right at the heart of the Chelsea defence which made them very uncomfortable.

Kimbo did the same but seeing how worried the Chelsea defence looked when run at I was a bit disappointed that Noone didn't get at least 20 minutes or so to have a go on either of the wings.

Thought Whitts, Gunnar and Cowie were poor today and was amazed that Whitts and Cowie playued the full 90 minutes!

Sometimes I think MM has his faults and one of them is being stubborn in his team selections. Gunnarsson has been very poor recently but gets picked whereas Noone has not had a look in. Can't see the point why he is on the bench.

Thought Cowie actually played quite well he's done a good job eveytime he's played this season, mutch was our best midfielder today medal was knackered by the looks of it and gunnar was our weak link. Kimbo done well when he came on.

Fair play to Mutch for the goal. Alot of players wouldnt have bothered going for that ball but he did and was rewarded. Hopefully can continue his great run of form :ayatollah:

Mutch was great today - fair play to him. Scoring the 1st goal wasn't that easy, but he made it look easy! Torres or Welbeck would have missed that...

Over the last several games, Jordan Mutch has been outstanding and in fact I would say he is arguably our most exciting and best player.
When he gets the ball and goes forward things happen and his play puts defences on the back foot. I would compare Jordan to Everton's Ross Barclay - and my Everton work colleague does not disagree! I predict if Jordan keeps this up ( which I suspect he'll get even better as the season progresses) he'll be on Roy Hodgson's radar very soon!

As for Noone, Malky had nothing to loose at 3-1 down and he should've have been given his chance instead of Gestede. Only my opinion of course.
