I like Gunnarson, he works hard for the team but unlike last year he has been given more defensive responsibilities and he does give the ball away for too often and cost us a goal again today. He is far better driving forward getting into the box but this year when we are going to be playing a more defensive game he is proving to be a liability on too many occasions and was shocked that Kim was dropped instead of him today.

Ok hes not playing so well at the moment but lets not be over the top. The guy has been great for us.

He was very poor against Spurs and he has not played well since. He seems to be losing the ball continuously and he gives away needless free kicks.

He has been great for us in the past but you have to pick the best team on form and I think that he could do with a rest.

You are correct,

He's too slow in possession, dwindles on the ball and gets robbed, gives away far too many fouls, and without his long throw doesn't offer anything to the game.. He's been poor last 3 games and surely malky can see this.

Mutch should have replaced Gunnar not kim. Mutch and Kim are far better footballers and would work well together with Medel doing the spoiling. Bellamy needs to come on the left side too! Was fantastic is for Wales in his last two games and offered direct running, something we don't have with our current set up..

It's been 8 games. All players who haven't played in the PL are still learning. He's the best we have to sit in the middle of the park with Medel and break up the play.

But he gives it away far too often. No point breaking up play only to give it straight back.

Gunnar was guilty of giving the ball away needlessly in crucial positions yesterday - Kim might have done more with it in those positions (ie in the final third of the pitch going forward). He's performed well on occasion but his standards have slipped in the last couple of games. Wouldn't hurt to drop him for a game or two.

Taylor can't use use his right foot and everyone can read him like a book, fair play to him last year he got away with it but no chance this season.
I like Gunnarsson but same again, he will be found wanting this season and is not good enough I am sorry to say.
