Another Norwich ticket fiasco

Fri Oct 18, 2013 1:07 pm

Just when you think it can't get any worse we have been told that we need to look for volunteers to drop out as there are not enough tickets to go round as ticket office sold too many. I missed out on Fulham as I left it to late, so paid in full for all my family to go as travel club supposedly get all the tickets. I've taken unpaid leave to go and if the ticket office don't seem to be sorting this out soon. I will be suing the club for lost wages if we can't go. Apparently all travel club buses are losing tickets so I would check if your sorted. #FUMING

Wouldn't it make more sense for the club to ask for more tickets?

Im sure there are many fans like myself who would want to go still

Surley its impossible to sell to many, the computers are set to a limit so when it hits that limit it all shuts down. the club are never going to pay for your wages, no point even trying to sue them, its your risk not theirs

Yes its true, they have asked if fans would like to not go to this game and drop their tickets back and choose another away game

We refused more tickets, so its to late now.

Professional club. Hmm

so what happens if no one drops out? will we be forced to hand our tickets back?

how can they say to you choose another game, what if they dont qualify? then how would it be far and others that do then

I think you will find the travel club buses wanted more tickets than the 1400 allocation. Plus they sold tickets to the self travel fans on wed morning as well. I called the tickets office and asked how can I make sure I get Norwich tickets and I was assured they wouldn't sell out but to be on safe side book through travel club and even get cheaper travel. They even told Norwich we didn't want anymore before they even went on sale.

With Tan's record of sacking people who mess up. IF that is what happened to Moody. Then it does not look good for someone in charge of the ticket office. Perhaps the ticket office will be more efficient in future?

That's disgraceful and further supports the stories that things are still very unprofessional behind the scenes and fans are always the ones to lose out in certain areas  :(

there was NO criteria on this game............its about time the club got a grip on this.........we are given X amount for any given game...you just look for a criteria that is under whats been allocated........eg 3,000 tickets....crieria 5 from last year or 3 from this year..............anything that is fair and transparent, and rewards loyalty as the likes of the big retail shops and even mcdonalds do................this bending over backwards to include new fans is crap..........if they want to go away so much why not Hull..........same old faces in Hull this year...............

I have been very fortunate in the sense that the club found me three tickets for Norwich as I informed them that it was my birthday weekend when I went down to find they had sold out in fifteen minutes on the day of release. It is my first away this season, but have done quite a few over the years, so hope nobody begrudges them and we are certainly intending to do more now that a hectic work schedule is over - if we can get tickets of course as we always travel independently.

Surely its the travel clubs fault presumably it's run by the club? If it is someone needs arse kicked plain bad planning! Obvious if got 100 coach seats 100 tickets should be kept aside! Simples.

Why should 100 tickets be kept aside? People who travel independently have as much right to those tickets as people on the bus!!

Yes what a complete fxxk up AGAIN, I went to the majority of away games last season and been to all away league games this season but could not get a ticket for this game.
Why cant our club take the full allocation and give supporters every chance to travel to watch the team instead of penny pinching, or is that interfering tw*t of a chairman running the ticket office as well :ayatollah:
