I bet you most of those millions will all have sky or cable packages and mobile phone contracts. People need to prioritise their spending to ensure they stay warm. Granted there will be some who are really struggling but most just need to cut back on non essential spending. In the scheme of things these rises amount to £2 a week. Our food bills have gone up loads more than that but no body complains about the super markets.

Take off all the 'Green' costs Wallace (Milliband) in particular was instrumental in foisting upon the industry and bills would not be so bad and people seem to be missing the point It's all Labour's fault, is anyone mentioning when Miliband taxed the energy sector and openly admitted they'll be a price rise in January 2010 as energy secretary and it'll continue to rise, but this is okay because it's helping to fight climate change? No!
Wallace will bang on about this week in week out about prices till the next election as it seems it's a vote winner regardless on everything else what is wrong with the country.

Seriously?

The rest of us can make do, it's character building for the kids. I don't put the heating on, we all put extra covers on, wear jumpers around the house. Got a lovely fireplace in the living room too which keeps us all warm in the evening.
If you want cheaper energy prices then support fracking but the same wishy washy, hippy, loony left wing are moaning about that as well.

who choose between heating and eating. Its so easy to have a "daily mail" view of the world.

Do you really expect people to believe that bulls**t. Did not eat so they could have the heating on![]()
You do know that not all Tories live in stately homes, and do not have servants do you?
It's so easy to have a Daily Mirror view of the world eh?
Do they still pay their Sky tv subscriptions ?
What about those little luxuries they still feel they need? Fags and beer?
