I was laughed at for mentioning on here previously that people on the dole could easily set-up a window cleaning round

£20 is expensive (unless they are including the soffits, etc.)
The going rate for your average 3 bed semi is between £6 - £8 depending on location and ease of access
Most good window cleaners use the H&S conscious 'pole' system nowadays and these operate with 'pure water systems' where water is filtered (de-ionised water) before it reaches the window
A friend of mine, Carl, started a company called 'Concept2O' (letter O) and it's a very good system and takes about 3 cleans to make a big difference
Hope that helps![]()
Don't know anyone down the Vale but I'm sure a quick trawl of the internet will help

bang on.takes 3 cleans to get the glass used to the new water .also when it,s first cleaned with pure water the brush head may touch the top of the window frame and cause a little bit of grime off the top of the frame to drop on to the glass .it,s called spotting.little spot marks.takes a few cleans to get the frame above window clean .it,s not law you have to use poles.look in temporary working at heights .once i used a pole though that was it.first the safety aspect and secondly it,s easier and is a dam sight less tiring than ladders..i used ladders over 20yr.i served my time on them![]()
