MALKYS AGENT WARNS CARDIFF!

Mackay’s agent warns Cardiff
Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay’s agents issued a warning before today’s board meeting, according to Wales Online.

The Scot’s team have questioned whether some members of the board, including Vincent Tan, fully support Mackay, whose future could be decided in Monday’s crisis meeting, where he will be present.

Speculation

Speculation has surrounded Mackay since head of recruitment, and the manager’s trusted friend, Iain Moody, was replaced by Kazakh Alisher Apsalyamov, who is 23 and does not have any footballing experience.

Moody helped bring in the likes of Steven Caulker and worked closely with Mackay during his two year tenure at in South Wales.

The owner of the Bluebirds, Tan, issued his support for Mackay when the club finally made a statement at the end of last week, Friday.

Supporters

However, Mackay is still not happy and wants the club to tell supporters what is going on at the club, according to the report.

Tan has made some strange decisions, like changing the club colours from blue to red, making the club more attractive.

Raymond Sparkes, who has been Mackay’s agent for 23 years, says that Mackay will tell the fans himself what is going on if the club does not say anything.

He told Wales Online: “From the word go Malky’s concern has not been for himself, it is for the club itself.

“He is deeply concerned that what was being built at Cardiff City, the momentum being built over the last two years, is in danger of unravelling.

“Malky is basically trying to protect what he has achieved at Cardiff City and is not worried about himself so much.

“He completely understands the anxiety that must be building among the club’s supporters.

“He believes nothing has been explained to the fans in what has been going on for a number of days now.

“Malky understands there has been a lack of clarity and will insist at the end of the board meeting that the chairman or other senior directors provide supporters with a clear explanation of what has been going on.

“If that cannot be done he will take it upon himself to do it.”

The 41-year-old is one of Cardiff’s most successful managers, and is aware that fans are worried about his current situation at the club.
