My Boiler is a Worceter 241
Pilot light has gone out and now it wont ignite -Its has automatic igniter which doesnt seem to be sparking when you turn it on and theres no smell of gas -- It hasnt got an ignitor button --Any Ideas
or anyone know someone who can have a look at it

Sounds a bit obvious, but is the electricity supply to it switched on?
Is the fuse in the switch gone?
Do you have the user manual for it and do it mention this problem in the troubleshooting section?

Yes and yes been through it-
Instructions just say to turn off and back on and it will light --nothing else

Is there a gas indication light,I've got a ferolli boiler which wouldn't ignite,the problem was the inlet valve by the meter no gas was being fed,check if you,ve got another gas appliance

Is the fan working? The boiler will not ignite without the fan coming on 1st

What pressure is in there , I remember mine was almost on 0 and wouldn't light. As soon as I put water in the tank to 1.5 it started straight away.

Yes fan is working and pressure is over 1 --let more water in --looks like it will be a £90 call out charge

Check you bank acct/home insurance - you may have some cover with them for "heating failure"

Just to update
Had to call someone out freezing our knobs off --Took a chance with a google search
Luckily two great young lads called out and sorted it --Turns out it was the
extractor pump was gone--new pump 110 quid 30 quid labour --cant argue with that great service
Would recommend Chris and his mate 07877240627

Yep that will be the Fennogolin Pin without a doubt! Could take me a while to find one and a weeks labour to fit it!
