VT and Sam

Sun Oct 13, 2013 5:55 pm

This isn't a thread about the positives/negatives about Sam or VT. Just their respective views on events.

I'm just wondering how much does VT lean on Sam for football matters - I know he is only at the club as a 'non involved' capacity but with his football experience you would surely think he would have an opinion on what Tan seems to be doing, or that Tan would ask for some input? We obviously don't know the full details, but from the outside looking in, some of the footballing decisions he's making seem way out of the norm for any football team/owner relationship, especially from a chairman that has little to no exposure to football!

Regardless of people's views on Sam, he has a wealth of football experience and knows what are perceived as good/bad decisions and the way they have been conducted?

VT listens to no one and Sam comes from a by gone era. Hes a football dinosaur.

f**k the pair of them.

Dinosaur or not, he knows how the recent decisions would go down with fans.

Surely he would voice these opinions/concerns to the owner?

Or does he not care about how these decisions would be received by the fans?

Only thing Sam cares about is his bank balance.

I'm sure there are some on here close to Sam who would argue with that.

However, there needs to be a voice of reason in that board meeting tomorrow? I know VT is referenced Asa dictator etc, and I don't think many can argue that as things stand but who at the club will actually fight the corner of the football club?
