BRISTOL City have the most unfriendly fans in England, according to new figures.
Last season, 34 troublemakers were banned from Ashton Gate and every other football stadium in the country – the highest of any club in the Football League or Premier League.
The pitch at Ashton Gate was invaded after Bristol City played Bristol Rovers earlier this season
This brings the total number of City fans who are subject to Football Banning Orders (FBOs) to 56.
Meanwhile, their arch rivals Bristol Rovers have 16 fans with FBOs as of September 20 and nine were issued by the courts last season, which was the joint 13th highest out of 92 teams.
The report released by the Home Office has also recorded how many people were arrested at grounds across the country in 2012/13.
Bristol City had 54 fans arrested, 42 of which were at away games and the vast majority were for public disorder.
Rovers had 25 arrests, seven at home and 18 away.
Brighton and Hove Albion has the “friendliest” fans.![]()
Only 24 supporters of the Championship side were arrested last year and it was one of only three teams not to issue a banning order

I shouldn't have posted those quotes yesterday as this isn't the place for it so I'll apologize.
I've been three times to Ninain park and still have the mental scares from my last visit. The first time was great, drank in the Prince of Wales then another pub near the ground. Great day.
2nd time was a bit intimidating but was was expected as after all you are Cardiff City and you haven't got the reputation for being happy clappers.
3rd time, Nightmare.
2003-2004 I think the season after we beat you 1-0 at our place. Me and my mate traveled down on the train so we drank on train and taxied to the ground. Inside and eating my pie I glanced over at the Grandstand and nearly dropped my pie as the sights of lads staring and the abuse directed at us was venom at it's worst. I've been to hostile grounds but not on this scale and it was on that scale that I couldn't focus on the game but on how the f**k are we going to get to the station with that mob waiting outside.
89th Minute I was hoping for another hour injury time but the tw*t blew on 90. My mate never been to Ninian Park before so I didn't mention what to expect when we exit the ground as if I had then I don't think he'd have left the ground so I just we'll turn left out the ground and follow the crowd if we get split then we'll make contact when safe to do so.
We got split straight away outside and I'll put my hand up and say it was scary stuff outside and still can't believe I didn't get filled in and we finally met each other at Paddington Station. He asked me to do him a favor, sure, Don't ever ask me again to visit Cardiff and that was one thing I could guarantee without a doubt.
I'm under no illusion as to the size of Cardiff's firm and has been top for decades whereas Little old Brighton are mediocre compered to other firms. Brighton would never visit places like Cardiff and that's a fact and that's nothing to be ashamed of.

Newcastle United had the largest number of fan arrests last season – 175 – but Premier League champions Manchester United were a close second, with 145.
On a national level, there is a general downwards trend in football-related arrests.
As previously reported, Avon and Somerset police have issued 24 CCTV and photographic images of Rovers and City fans they suspect may have committed offences when the two clubs clashed in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy first round at Ashton Gate earlier this season.

I remember that game. I had my 2 girls with me, one holding my hand who was about 10/11 and one on my shoulders who was about 4, my mate had his little boy too.
The Brighton fans were coming out of the gates and there were hundreds of Cardiff on either side trying to get to them, just as we were walking past- we had to run into the gardens to get out of the way !
Problem was , because of the layout at the old ground there was no safe direction for the Brighton fans to go. The police were trying hard to get control of it, but it was still pretty nasty.
Didn't really notice anyone getting hurt though near the ground, although getting back to the cars/station might have been dicey.
A season or 2 before a very big guy in his Brighton top with long blonde hair was walking out along the road with all the Cardiff fans, making himself as obvious as possible. Most people were just ignoring him, thinking he was just very stupid - although one guy kicked him up the arse if I remember correctly. As he was going past the houses opposite Jubilee park a couple of kids who could have been no more than 15 ran past me and caught him up.One of them gave him a clip across the ear - he must have jumped up to reach him , and the guy went down like a felled tree. The kids ran off and some old woman came over to help him screaming at all the other people walking past that they were bullies etc.. given that the guy really wasn't hurt the whole scene was a bit of a comedy. He got up fairly soon after a bit sorer and hopefully a little bit wiser.
In fairness these incidents have thankfully been pretty rare over the years.

If you aren't selling something here you are droning on about "trouble, arrests, fans who are tough" etc. Have you ever considered growing up one day?

Getting back to the Station was a nightmare, I was amongst lads who wanted to kick our butts big time and listening to them talking knowing what they wanted to do was scary stuff and while walking back with them I was just saying to myself and hoping no one would start to make small talk or ask the time as my cover would have been blown and the consequences wasn't worth thinking about.
Think that chap who got a slap was around 1999. It happened on my 2nd trip. It was on our forum the next day and back in those days then it was wise to cover up your colours if you wore them to places like Cardiff, Millwall.

I know today then you can wear Colours with pride but still get the odd loon who'll be out of order.
