David Weir who used to work at league 1 side Sheffeild United said "I spotted an add in the paper for somebody to paint the walls at CCFC, having had some experience at decorating I applied for the job". When asked about his motivations for taking the position David said "I heard the promotion prospects at Cardiff City are quite extraordinary so I thought,why not".
David added "I love being involved in football, and felt it would be a chance to get my foot in the door". Cardiff's newly appointed decorator and odd jobs man will start a week Tuesday at about 9 o'clock.
