Bit of envy watching Pompey earlier.

Sat Oct 12, 2013 1:38 pm

Fresh start owned by supporters, still got their colours and badge, only proper fans now watching them.

Then there's us, got a Malaysian despot in charge who took away our identity because he felt like. Now he's interfering with the team despite knowing nothing about football. I dread to think what he'll be like once he owns 98% of the club.

I'd quite happily return to league2 as long as we're back in blue with supporters on board, if we never made the premiership again then, so be it. :ayatollah:

Fantastic if we can be in div 2! but thats a big if and as been discussed to death, we are where we are. Let's just hope everything turns out for the good of the club? Who ever owns it.

No thank you. f**k going back to shit holes where no one wants to be, you think Portsmouth fans are glad with their fall? Drawing 1-1 with another club who has fallen from grace. f**k the sentimental side of football, I want us at the highest level. f**k Portsmouth

Unfortunately we have too many glory hunters supporting us. Also we have too many oldies who have "been there done that" so they now only care about success.

What's so fun supporting a team in decline/in a league where they're bigger than? You'd be happy playing the likes of Wimbledon, Exeter and Hartlepool etc when a city of this size has the possibility for this team to have crowds of 40k, playing consistent PL football? :sleepy2:

No, in red no. We're a blue club, if that's mean going back to the dungeon, then so be it.

You'd rather lose the PL boom where the whole city benefits, the community benefits from PL football, more of the Welsh public supports their local team than going back into the dungeon leagues where no one gives a shit and they mock you?

Who cares what other people think. You should be proud of your club, no matter how bad they are on the pitch. I for one can't be proud of our club at all right now the way things are

I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately not enough of us feel the same and this is why our fans are now quite embarrassing to say the least. I'm sad our glory hunters have associated theirselves to our club and are following Tan like red sheep, helping him to ruin our club.

We're nowhere near 'second place'. We're a newly promoted club, who have got a real battle on our hands, just to stay up. If we go back down, then so be it. Football is not like other sports, where winning is everything. It's about supporting your club. And it's about identity. We have paid a high price for getting to the PL. Some people on this board have never known a relegation. It's not nice, but life goes on, and we still support CCFC. Hopefully we would keep most of our fanbase, but some would leave. Still believe that, one day, when the current set-up has passed, we will be back in blue. :ayatollah:

It does not have to be a straight choice between the PL, or where Pompey are now. There is a lot of ground in between.

Have your season in the sun then kick the c**t out and take your club back off him.If that means not renewing season tickets and boycotting matches then so be it.It still amazes me he's been allowed to do what he's done.Under Dave Jones and Ridsdale you was a whisker away from getting to the Premiership so it can be done without Tan and his enormous ego.

under the Riddler we were also a whisker away from being liquidated as he tried to build a house on sand

Nope but it makes you look foolish when you come out with your elitist crap that people have sold their soul.

The sooner they invent a time machine and we can go back to Ninian Park and have a 10 minute queue for the toilets the better.

Those were the days.

But the people supporting Tan and his rebrand, especially after this weeks fiasco, have surrendered their souls imo.

It was so good at NP in the dungeon that only 5000 ~ 6000 could get their hands on tickets even though we could get 42K in there :? :? :? :? :?

Yeah a lot of us have been around during the 80's and 90's when we were mostly playing shit football at some shit football stadiums, so yes some of us are enjoying things like winning the championship and playing premier league football. But we all still love our football club! As for being glory hunters  grow up, we are hardly winning trophies every season
