' Cardiff City expanding the Stadium Capacity & Debt '

Sat Oct 12, 2013 8:44 am

Despite the Circus surrounding our club this week, work will start next week on the Ninian Stand

The extra 5,100 seats, taking our capacity to approx 33,000

Also the Directors meeting will still go ahead this Monday coming

Vincent Tan intends in November to own 98% of Cardiff City Football Club.
Lets hope then in November Tan sorts out our £140mill debt and does what he has always said he would do change the debt he has created in to equity.

Aston Villa Away tickets will now go on Sale this coming Wednesday. There will be 3,000 tickets available.

I totally agree with you on that, without a doubt it now has to be done ASAP.

I doubt that with the money spent on transfers and the wage bill we have got. At the end of the day this is ONE thing that Tan must keep his word on. For me it's the most important issue of the lot. If the slate is wiped clean then our position changes dramatically . ;)

The debt to equity will settle us down a lot! It needs to be sorted ASAP just like previous comments. As for the stadium expansion I will welcome it if it means we will stay in the Premier League and fill it up every week!

Any commitments Tan has made will be added to the clubs debt.

The effect won't show on the P and l because they are capital expenditure. However whatever the fee is will be added to the debt, less whatever we've paid for it, which will be shown as a reduction in cash (or increase in overdraft or loans)

Trust me on this. Anything spent on players will be an addition to the club debt -even though there will be a corresponding increase in asset valuations on the other half of the balance sheet.

Our debt to Mr Bloom is going to reach £200m :o

Brighton and Hove Albion have unveiled a £55 million dream scheme to propel them into the Premier League.

A four-star hotel, new student accommodation and parking for the Amex could be built near the stadium in an ambitious scheme creating more than 200 new jobs.

If planning permission is granted, the club hopes the hotel will open its doors as early as September 2015 – in time for the Rugby World Cup.

The city’s council leader has backed the proposal, which is spearheaded by the Seagulls’ executive director Martin Perry.

Speaking exclusively to The Argus, Mr Perry said the project could set the Seagulls on a sound financial footing for years to come.

The three-storey hotel would be built on land to the east of the Amex.

It would cater for large conferences, weddings, visiting teams and their supporters, visitors to the nearby universities, and business executives on overnight stays.

Further down Lewes Road, a block housing up to 800 students and a multistorey car park for fans to use on match days would be built on the Bridge car park near Brighton Aldridge Community Academy.
