Believing newspapers when it suits?

Many of you claimed not to believe the papers and turned your noses up when we were linked to loads of players in the transfer window and would only believe the stories of signings when confirmation was made by the club.
Now many fans on here are believing anything the newspapers write even though these stories could possibly be made up or exaggerated and are not quotes from our club nor are they confirmed by our club.
I doubt many outside the club know the truth regarding what's happening so maybe the echo and dailymail etc don't either

Very true. Strange how all of a sudden everything printed in the papers about the situation at our club is "gospel"
