Liverpool Wonderkid Harry Wilson Makes Welsh Squad
Posted on October 10, 2013 by BackHeel Standard

He’s just 16 years old, and he has only played once for Liverpool’s u21 team, but Liverpool wonderkid Harry wilson is in the Welsh squad to face Macedonia and I for one am pleased.

He’s fast, has a nice touch, a decent shot and an impressive burst of acceleration. Let’s hope Liverpool manager, Rodgers, gives himm a run in the team soon, lets face it he gave Sterling a game at a similarly young age.

Other Wales news, James Collins is back in the Welsh squad, having made up with Chris Coleman. Unlike most fans I am happy about this, we need all the talent we can.

Well when you consider that nine first-team players have pulled out with injury... :?

Thought he would have picked his Liverpool team mate as well the highly rated Lloyd Jones as well given the lack of central defensive options.

But Wilson's grandad will be happy if he makes his Wales debut he put a bet on him playing for Wales when he was a baby

[b] But it’s granddad Peter Edwards who may have the biggest smile on his face if Harry ever plays for Wales.

When Harry was only 18 months old, his grandfather placed a bet that his young grandson would play football for Wales.

Mark said: “I’m not telling you how much he’ll win but they were good odds.

As much as I hate Coleman by calling players like that Liverpool 16 year old its give them good experience of being in the squad rather than calling up 30 year old average league 2 players..

Clever move by Coleman. If he tries these youngsters and gets sacked his excuse will be 'I tried to bring through youth, knew it would take time but i wasn't given that time to make it work'. Clever.
