Statement from Cardiff City Supporters Trust

Tim Hartley, chair of Cardiff City Supporters’ Trust, said: "Fans will be concerned with the recent behind-the-scene developments at Cardiff City which appear to put into question the future of our manager, Malky Mackay. Supporters are surprised that someone who appears to have little hands-on experience has been put in charge of transfers at the football club.

"Fans want Malky Mackay, who has done a fantastic job as manager in taking the club to the Premier League, to remain at Cardiff City. We don’t want to see any action taken to undermine his position as manager and Cardiff City’s efforts to have a successful first season in the top division.

"There are fears that the current developments could drive Malky into the arms of another Premier League club and that would be hugely damaging for the Bluebirds. Malky is a talented manager who has huge respect among the fans for what he has delivered.

"Fans deserve a clear statement on the position from the club on what has been happening and Malky’s position needs to be made perfectly clear."

Where have BU given a statement that VT should be out?

In many ways, I wish they would. :malky:

Can't agree more. We're becoming the national media's laughing stock.

Forget the Media Circus; they'll soon move on to pastures new and we are only a laughing stock IF you allow supporters of all those other faultless clubs the opportunity to do so ;)

A statement from a minority group who mean well isn't going to make the slightest bit of difference.

The Trust and other splinter groups as well as other fans didn't do enough at the time when there was opportunity to make a difference and now we are paying the price of which will only get far worse, further rebranding , new " name " Manager and full Malaysian floatation on the Asian Markets turning what we knew as Cardiff City, into a fully fledged Malaysian football club for Malaysian enjoyment nationally and more for promotional basis.

Load of bollocks to put it quite bluntly. Tan Out should be the message. Simple as that.

EVERY PERSON JUST KEEPS FLIRTING AROUND THE ISSUE.

Deep down everyone wants him gone but the majority wont admit it because of the money and the threats of walking and a new owner. Sorry but there comes a point where you just have to say 'bugger it, I'll man the heck up and find my own way'. We are a massive family of fans who should unite and not let this power freak split us.

Divide and conquer is the name and Tan is master of the game. He'd soon be shocked if we told him to get lost and take his cash with him and chased him out of the city.

Nobody said it'd be easy but taking the easy route (Tan and his money) at the expense of what you truly believe in is a bitch tactic. Tell him straight.

Ive got to agree, enough really is enough. Hopefully this is the straw that hopefully breaks the Dragons back. Ive had enough of seeing "Visit Malaysia" all around the Stadium. We are Bluebirds, we are Welsh, we are proud, we are passionate time for the Bluebird to see the Dragon off.
