Ok, some of you will back Vincent Tan no matter what and thats your right/believe, set aside on why Ian Moody was sacked.
Whats your Honest Opinion on Vincent Tan replacing Malky's Right hand Man with the Painter?
Alisher Apsalyamov is a 23 year old from Kazakhstan with zero experience in football apart from shadowing Moody for a few months that is. Just last year he was painting our lovely walls inside the Cardiff City Stadium. A simple web search brings up results showing that he went to the same school as Vincent Tan's son. Iain Moody on the other hand had years of experience and arguably just as important, had an extremely good working relationship with Malky Mackay.
I took this paragraph from Nathan Walkers Blog

It's not that black and white though is it Annis.
Whilst I cannot explain the unusual appointment, can anyone explain why it was made in the first place...
What has Ian Moody Done?
Is the Leak story just a cover story?
Is Tan starting to put his people in place?
The truth is we don't know.
Let's wait til the whole story is out before judgements are passed!!

if Moody is the leak and Tan doesn't want info leaking then fair enough to suspend him... the appointment of a Kazak Painter who has no clue about football to scout future players, nonsense!

Ok, some of you will be anti Vincent Tan no matter what and thats your right/believe, set aside on why Ian Moody was sacked.
We don't know anything concrete do we ? Suspicion. paranoia, tabloid journalists, ITK wannabes and Jacks
We don't play for another 10 days, we survived bigger dramas.

A striker who scores 20 goals a season? Or a left back with a bit of pace...

Annis, Moody debacle apart, there simply must be an ulteria motive for Tan to want the youngster in. I very much doubt it is to oversee the transfer of players and I believe Tan himself will now pull the strings on future negotiations (even if he has a stooge in place for wholly cosmetic purposes)
I was interested to read about the young lad's father possibly coming on board at the club and it would be interesting to learn exactly what it is he can bring to the table
I think we are in for an 'interesting' period. The true facts will slowly emerge with a few twists and turns to come
The news this evening that the stadium expansion has been approved (great news

) makes the current situation even more confusing and disappointing, but it does (sort of) point to a continued commitment to the club from Tan, even if the 'reasons' for it are often a little confusing and the messages coming from the club even more so

If true and it's still to be confirmed by the club the appointment of the painter is ridiculous, but we need to hear the full story before we make a discion on the Moody situation.

My opinion is this, VT believes that things are getting way too comfortable for the management, not knowing the details of the bonus situation, it would seem that the player unrest and snubbing of the OWNER being made public, has reflected badly on VT and understandably he has taken it badly and reacted. Iain Moody, may have involvement in the leak or he may have taken decisions on the bonuses that have caused the rift, who knows? What we do know is that he is the fall guy.
The appointment of the 23 year old by VT seems like a deliberate move to basically say to Malky and the rest of the management that I am the owner and I can and will do anything I want! even to go as far to replace one of your most valuable allies with a nobody! So this is a warning to watch yourselves and do as I say, as it's my club and I pay the wages. Malky is not God, he is a decent manager that can be replaced, he knows that. The facts are that VT has backed him in the transfer market, he has given him everything he wanted, he is not meddling with team selection, however, if he feels that the management are getting too cozy, he may feel that it will jeopardise the chances of staying up. Malky at the end of the day is an employee, who like all employees react when they are on their toes. This could just be VTs way of restoring order, flexing his muscle, proving that no one at the club is not expendable and simply showing everyone Who is the boss.

Spot on. Moody was just caught in the crosshairs/fire.
It may work in fast food franchises Vinny boy, bot football is a little different. It takes a couple of years grinding out results and flirting with relegation before you can start winning games regularly at this level. Stability and support is the key not dictator like undeliverable demands.

Hmmm. Think the Moody bit is a mystery, but sure more will be revealed at some point.
Also think the appoint of his replacement could be part of an elaborate investment plan. Perhaps he has family connections who may be potential investors ?
Perhaps it is part of floating the club financially abroad ? (Would fit in with Tans alleged buying of shares at moment !)
Or perhaps it is as suggested here, a show of muscle by Mr Tan, showing who is boss ?
Perhaps, perhaps !!
One think, we have got to be aware of is that owners are OWNERS, and can do pretty much what they like in Premier.
Happy days.

I think we can safely assume that if the banning of VT from the dressing room had been kept in house then Moody would still have his job.
Can you imagine the shame that he felt when everyone knew that the manager/players banned him and then multiply that tenfold when it became public.
I'm certain that "face" is going to be extremely important to a man like Tan and he'd have felt humiliated within his circles by the situation becoming public knowledge.
This is a shot across the bows to everyone at the club, to say that dishonour of him will not be tolerated. Like all very successful businessmen he's a megalomaniac.
The flip side is that it would appear that this situation has not derailed his long term plans for the club, hence the continued buying up of shares and the stadium expansion.
We need a statement from Tan outlining his long term plans for the club to alleviate our nervousness.
From my own point of view I've always been a supporter of him, but not so sure now as I can't work out what his vision for our club is.

Good shout Terrytaxi.
Sure there is a cultural aspect to the dishonor thing. Mr Tan has reacted before when fans made him feel uncomfortable.
Facts are, he has invested though (all be it through loans etc) and seems to continue to do so. Likewise the stadium expansion seems a goer.
You are right, some kind of statement by Mr Tan, may be helpful. If only to put us lot in the picture !!!!!!!!
Thu Oct 10, 2013 8:47 am
This is going to backfire for tan. People dont mind putting a shift in, but when it almost becomes bullying, then players will react negatively.
What next. City in the premier is a dream come true, but lets hope it was worth it.
Because most people who are red wont be there if we went down a division or two, neither will tan
