' Bets are flooding in on Malky Mackay to leave Cardiff City '
Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay has been installed by many bookmakers as the favourite to be the next Premier League manager to get the push following the shock news surrounding the suspension of right-hand man Iain Moody.
Since our exclusive story of Mackay's transfer guru's suspension from the Cardiff City Stadium broke overnight, a flurry of bets on the Scot leaving his post have seen his odds come in from 33/1 to odds-on to be the next Premier League manager out of the door.
Mackay's trusted head of recruitment, who he brought to the Bluebirds from former club Watford, has this week been replaced by unknown 23-year-old Alisher Apsalyamov, from Kazakhstan.
How much the news has unsettled Mackay's relationship with owner Vincent Tan is unclear but the rush of interest has stolen the attention of the bookies.
Leading bookmaker William Hill have Mackay in place at 6/4 favourite to be the second Premier League manager to leave.
A William Hill spokesman today explained: "We reacted to the story breaking and moved the price on Malky in from 25/1 to 6/1.
"Once we moved the price in, the market really started moving.
"We had to move his price in to 5/2 and now he's on offer with us at 6/4."

Why are you all f*cking worrying? I could go down the bank, take a loan out and put a huge lump on Malky to get sacked/leave. The odds would increase.
Jesus Christ, it's people making a quick buck
