We had no choice then and no choice now, it's either get on with supporting the team or not. Until now VT hasn't done anything like this, the rebrand was handled badly but I think that was more due to people inside the club rather than entirely VT.

Fair enough about having no choice, I can accept that as a club you had very little choice. As for the re-brand, it should never have happened, it wasn't handled badly, it just should have never taken place.

I don't think you understand. We needed VT because of our perilous financial state, running him out of town (which is what would have happened if we had done that) would have threatened the clubs existence.

I understand what VT was trying to do but I don't think he understood our culture in doing so.

You might have been deducted points or at worse drop down a league.I'd take that over losing your identity. Can't speak for others, mind you.I also think the pro reds are making out your plight was a lot worse than it actually was.All to welcome tan and his plan.

I can't agree, the guy obviously has his wits about him to be the success that he has been in business. I'm sure someone would've advised him that it would cause problems. From what I read though, when he doesn't get his own way or someone disagrees with him, then they are out of the door.
He knew full well what he was doing and didn't care about the culture.
