Its expected tomorrow that Sunderland will announce ' Gus Poyet ' as their New Manager.

Do you think Poyet will make a big difference for Sunderland ?

It been good knowing C Palace and Sunderland look like they would be the worst two teams so far, as it gives us breathing space.

Yes I've been happy with Sunderland being right down there & looking very poor but I think Poyet is a good manager & they have some decent players.
I can see them slowly climbing up the table unfortunately.
Interesting first game against the jacks!!

I think they'll continue to struggle.

I think the damage is already done for them - too many new players untried at premiership level. Have they got the fight? Poyet plays good football, but in a relegation situation you have to scrap for every point and it remains to be seen whether they have the spirit around the club for that.

Yep good point, brought in too many players at once full stop.Unlike Malky who has a medium and long term plan.

Poyet is just another big ego, can't see him sorting them out. Lets hope this appointment helps us out a little. :malky:

They'll get a couple of wins but I think they will still go down. Di Canio tried to change things far too quickly in a short amount of time. He signed well over 10 first team players who were trained to fit in Di Canio's way but now a completely new manager after 7 games will be trying to implement his style also. The players will get a kick now a new maanger is there but I don't think they have the quality.

Hope the wankers go down. Too much player power. Paulo ordered them back early season from their hols because they were not fit enough, that's what started it all .f*cking overpaid tosspots. Listened to Swindon players saying he was a very hard taskmaster but a excellent manager who had a attention for every detail. Poyet was backed financially by Brighton and failed. Time will tell.

Think they have some great players. Lost the creative spark with SS who joined WBA.

Also the players they got from Juventus is good, how they got him is beyond me.. could play for a top 4 club.

It will be interesting to see hoe they do then with tese different views. I hope they bomb myself, obviously.

The question is: do we want them to lose against their upcoming game with the jacks as that will obviously help us??!!!!
