Newcastle had plenty of chances 2nd half but failed to take them.

Take the blinkers off it was a poor performance all around except for 5 mins before we scored and 5 mins after.

Onlt 2 people can take any credit from Saturday and thats Marshall and Mutch. The rest were piss poor.

How can you say that. We completly outplayed them 2nd half, 1st half was poor tho.

Your definition to completely outplayed must be different to mine then.

Yes we had more posession 2nd half but Newcastle, being 2-nil up were happy for that, we werent exactly carving them open like they did to us 1st half.

Completely outplaying someone is what Newcastle did to us first half and could have scored 5 or 6 but for World Class saves.

2nd half we got a goal back but apart from Kruls save from Mutch he was hardly troubled, whilst Marshall still had to pull off 2 more great saves from Sissoko and Cisse in the 2nd half.

We were much improved 2nd half(which wouldn't have been hard) but to say that is a bit much. They had plenty chances to finish the game off as we chased an equaliser.

Pretty much any manager who uses negative tactics loses a big percentage of the fan base . Fans want to see good football malky only cares about results and getting them any. Way possible !
Personally I think he will scrape us over the line but it's not going to be pretty lets just get behind the boys :ayatollah:

the first half was indeed lost by the boss....but im affraid it is you that had blinkers in the second half.....newcastle looked vulnerable when mutch ran at them..... :ayatollah:

Well I'll be behind him all the way. Some people just expect too much. The goal is to stay up, let's wait and see if he does that

ive always said ive hated the way malky sets his teams up with negative tactics since hes been here besides first 6 months, its a results business and yes he has delivered them but the football is so god damn boring! only seem to have ago when we are chasing the game

Makes me laugh, no it really does. It baffles me how people can even think about calling for a mangers head or even contemplating it then it is truly ridiculous. Last year he walked on water and every one praised him and wanted to plate his arse now the knifes are out. Some people want to put into perspective on where you've come from over the years.

Where do you expect to be? Top 4? Come on, survival is your realistic target this season then build on that.

People forget Newcastle took their foot off the gas second half. They had the game wrapped up pretty much first half until Mutch put in Odemwingie with a neat through ball before he cut back and slotted home. Had they went at us with the same furore it could have easily been a 4-0 win. They could have been up by that margin first half if it wasn't for Marshall.

Malky is playing 'we'll accept getting beat but as long as its not an embarrassing thrashing its okay'. Sorry he needs to grow a pair and go out there and try and win games because those matches vs Newcastle are very winnable as proven over the years by other clubs with managers who have more bottle.

I think you will find Kevin, the one who will really turn on him big time if the results dont get better will be Tan, he is very demanding and not use to losing.

Annis you always used to play the budget card at DJ yet Malky has spent 35m this summer so theres no excuses i am afraid. You cant have it both ways.

Chris, just look at What Malky has achieved at Cardiff City in less than 3 years. Yes I dont agree with his negative play of one upfront at home, but Malky deserves this whole season, no matter what in my opinion.

Lets not kid ourselves Malky couldnt have acheived what he did last season without Tans financial backing.

If I was Tan and had put in that level of investment id be demanding too.
