Been mentioned a few times but I think that he has been unlucky not to get a run out in the Premiership to date.
Pace, width, can beat players easily, can take set pieces and he can score. Defensively not the strongest may be but when you are a goal down, e.g. like yesterday why not give him 20 mins off the bench.
Ideal if we had height in the middle for him to aim for but he could still do a job and deserves a try. Nothing ventured nothing gained. He gives us something that we do not have at the moment.

I always thought last season you could tell what sort of game he was going to have judged by the first 5 mins. If he looked like he could bully the full back he would be great, if the full back didn't buy the feints or was quicker than him, Malky may as well drag him off after 15mins because he goes missing big time.

Tore Liverpool a new one in the Carling Cup for Brighton, that's how I first knew about him.

I don't think we ll see noone much this season,he can create chances, but he also loses the ball easily, and in the premiership,if the ball is lost in the wrong place, within a few passes,we would concede

He think he should have been brought on yesterday for the last ten mins... Newcastle were struggling and a bit more running at them/crosses wouldn't have gone a miss to be honest...

Injured last night in the Development game. MM reluctance to play Noone or any genuine width/pace could cost us this season. With Kadeem Harris also out on loan we have no genuine width to pass players and create chances.
We lost out on Ince and Montero but we are desperately short in this area. Noone has not played in the Premier League as yet and has just been used as a bench warmer even in games where we have gone behind. Now he is injured and could be out for some time.Could cost us.

Yep, fully agree. Confidence player. If it didnt come off for him in the first few attacks he would drop his head and not want the ball. If he roasted his man first couple of times he would demand the ball.

if were sitting pretty in the league id say give him a chance, but we need every point at the moment, and as fans we never know which noone is going to turn up. if we are cruising a game with 20 to go, id love to see him brought on though.

taking on board what you have written,,,,,why does Mackay continue to pick Gunnerson who habitually doesen't create chances and gives the ball away also

maybe the fans dont see why he is in the team, thats why we are fans,
loads moaned about cowie starting on the weekend, but he was so aware of the movements of our players, he read the game very well in terms of covering his team mates, when they stepped out of position. he didnt offer much on the right as an attacker, but he guarded alot of holes our lads left when they broke shape.

With regards to Noone I dont understand why he isnt used at all.
I dont see why he has him on the bench if we wont bring him on, he doesnt bring him on when we are winning, or losing (Newcastle 2-0 down?? surely if ever thats the time).

Spot on. Newcastle, Chelsea are 2 examples where he could have come on when we were chasing the game. Even with Everton at home - could have come on to try and get the winner. Presume MM does not rate him but why put him on the bench and never use him? Does not seem to make sense.

Obviously I dont know but my guess is that in tight games he doesnt want to bring him on as he Malky has mentioned before he loses the ball a little to much.
So can maybe understand him not coming on V Everton if MM was happy with the draw.
Newcastle though was crying out for some width and players to carry the ball and at 0-2 to me it seemed the perfect time for him to make an appearence.
he may stick someone else on the bench if he will never use him.

i dont see him changing a game if we are behind, or pushing us on if we are level, i see him exposing weakness when we are dominating a game and maybe 1 up looking for another to kill off the game, he can kill a weak fullback, or a team pushing on and lacking defensive cover
