Another bad game from Aron Gunnarsson

Is it only me that is seeing his recent bad form, however every game Malky still picks him over Mutch!

Totally agree. I normally back Gunnarsson all the way but as of late (last 3 games) he has been dreadful.

He seems very lethargic, his touch has been very poor and he keeps giving the ball away. He has also given away his fair share of free kicks. Probably going through a bad spell but hopefully he will be back to his best soon. Would have preferred to see Mutch start the last couple of games instead of him after his very poor Tottenham game.

He lacks pace and gives away silly fouls, he works hard but lacks genuine quality.

Not good enough for the Premier League and its showing.

Lost the ball in our own half more than once yesterday and once is too much, however he did chase back every time he lost it fair play too him

I said it on here yesterday.You can do a lot better than him.

Gunnar the new scapegoat?

We wouldn't have scored if it weren't for him, he played it to Mutch for him to assist it. His running was superb. He also made a few good passes out wide to Theo, nothing came of it because he was shit yesterday. And how can people say he had a bad game against Fulham? He weren't bad at all.

I know he weren't that great yesterday but he's a great player in his role and he's still improving.

His long throws were one of our major traits. Now he doesn't have that all he has is a bit of bite in the midfield

I thought Gunnarson was getting in Medel's way a bit - we need Medel in front of back 4 and then other should be find space in front or going to wings. I was talking to a journo on train back to London and he said a lot of the players for Cardiff seemed like they didn't know what to do position wise... I would agree with that. When we've played well the players have seemed to move forward with momentum and know exactly where to run to next, I thought Gunnar was one of the worst in that sense yesterday.

Can't swap Gunnarrson with Mutch, Mutch plays more attacking. Malky most likely wouldn't do that. Our other option there is Cowie...

At home Gary doesn't need help....

Gunnarsson was poor but credit to him for winning the ball for the goal, one thing we can count on his he will not jump out.

He did pass the ball to set up the goal yesterday but what else did he do in the match ? He was poor yesterday and was shocking against Spurs. Every time that he touched the ball he gave it away and he consistently gives free kicks away.

He is a warrior and some games he needs to be in he team, away at Chelski, but at home when we need to stop giving it away cheaply we need Whitts & Mutch in front of gary.

Why would anyone say a scapegoat??? I was simply trying to say that he has been playing poor so why is Malky rewarding him with first team football again and again when we have other players waiting for a chance... Just my opinion

We don't need him & Medel at home against teams outside the top 6. We need to be more positive with just Gary holding.
