Formation for the next game

Todays second half proved, after Malky's again stubborn and inept tactical first half display, that we can take the game to the likes of Newcastle. Its bewildering as to why Malky decides to go with these tactics from the off and it cost us big time today. By the time he made the changes needed we were already chasing the game.

Why Malky is playing Gunnarsson alongside a record signing defensive midfielder I do not know. Medel is composed enough and good enough to do a job and if we attack more, yes attack, he will not need to constantly defend as pressure will be alleviated.

What the first 7 premier league game has taught me is only 3 players can take the ball in any position, not lose it and pass to a team mate- Medel, Whitingham and Bellemy. Mutch looks like he could join them.

Gunner proved he can break up play, but unfortunately often its our he disrupts by losing the ball.

Peter O can't play in that midfield flank position- he is a striker and more clinical than Frazier.

Malky spent two season converting Whits into a central midfield playmaker- play him there, gary is with him, all the protection you need.
