Hi all, I am going to Leverkusen in November to watch Manchester play Leverkusen, and was wondering if any of you could share your knowledge on the place? What's it like? Prices? Nightlife? And by the way I'm not a united fan it's just my mate cane to Ipswich last year so I'm going to return the favour! Thanks.

I spent 10 years in Germany in the Army, but all I know about Leverkusen, is that it's quite close to Cologne (or "Köln" as the signs will show in Germany).

d20 went to Leverkusen last week, so I'd PM him if I was you and ask for his advice!

Nice place mate ,drop me a line and I'll send you details where we stayed ,the hotel was right by the ground just a short walk away ,look at my "off to bundesliga game " post got some pics but I have some of the town ,hotel etc I'll pm you.

if its close to koln or cologne id say defo go there if you got time its a brilliant place lovely bars restraunts and a brewery right in middle of the city where u can drink outside it,loved cologne ,in fact not many german cities i dont like ,doing hamburg in a fortnight on way to amsterdam on route to brussels lol

Its right by cologne only we didnt really have time ,you can actually see how close it is when your in the ground ,its less than 8 km I think.
