Pardew looks and sounds totally disinterested when interviewed and who can blame him - he knows that he is sat on an eight year contract with big bucks to come if he is sacked. That is rubbing off on the players - fingers crossed he is still in charge until after Saturday's game.

Their whole team looks uninterested also. They were 3-0 down at Everton and they just acted without a care in the world until the 2nd half.

Agree - with that kind of contract he will not care. It will only destabilise the club further... All in all Pards has done a decent job and he will leave with his reputation enhanced compared to before he joined particularly with the recent Kinneatr nonsense!

There is a severance clause in his contract by all accounts so he wont get 7 years wages should they decide to sack him.

I remember Pardrew being in a similar situation a few seasons ago at West Ham when we played them, in the 85th minute the score was 0-0, we all started singing, `sacked in 5 minutes, you`re getting sacked in 5 minutes`..
That backfired as West Ham scored right at the end, it was a Welsh player that scored too if my memory is right....lol

Stud phoned me the Monday after that game, said there`s a great pic of me and Lakey in the daily mirror centre pages, when i bought it, he was right, there we were plain as day with a look of sheer horror on our faces as the ball hit the net in the last minute..
