they are both different types one obviously attacking and one defensive and they compliment each other massively,
I really do think we would been reaping the benifits of having both ince and medel on the same pitch.

another thing that I wonder is if we had signed ince first and no other player in midfield would we of missed out on gary medel,
which I feel out of the two has been the one man who has strengthened us where we need to be solid (at the back)

Also do you think medel will be snapped up by a big 4 club end of season,
He could strengthen all 4 of the teams in question Imo - mancity debatable but the rest for sure

Second question, if he carries on the way he has been playing and escapes his 'wild man ' tag I think it's inevitable some top clubs will come knocking, however the fact we paid 11 million may work in our favour as his valuation can only rise and how many clubs can realistically afford to spend 15-20 million on a defensive midfielder?

With some players, even if they are great they look a lot better a smaller club compared to a top 4. Cardiff base a lot of their strategy around Medel controlling play and he wouldn't get as much of the play and wouldn't run the game so much in a top 4. They may still be interested though, I could see him as a player Mourinho would like especially if Mikel/Lampard/Essian move on... Sit back and allow the ones in front to bomb on.
