Blue & Yellow Kits Delayed Again!

Just phoned the club shop to find out when exactly the away kits would be available.

They told me that "they keep getting different dates"

First they were told end of September, then October the 4th and now they are saying it will be October the 11th!

This is down to "supply and demand" and the "powers that be"

Very frustrating.

Nothing clever about that. If you really want a blue or yellow one and you've been waiting this long, you'll wait another week or two rather than buy a red one.

Perhaps it is genuine the reason for delay. Thank god this is our last year with Puma

So Tan can manage to get the filthy red shirts out in June, arrange the advertising (insultingly using the castle as a backdrop) and flog them for months, but the blue and yellow kits just simply keep being delayed.

Of course, it's very common for notoriously tinpot organisations like Premier League clubs and global sportswear manufacturers to not be able to release kits..happens all the time!

When I mentioned that the delay might be with the manufacturers on the last of the many threads on this, I was shot down in flames. Nobody knows the real reason, but as someone with a business of my own, I suspect Tan would like the income from the sales as much as we want to buy them.

I'm sorry, but Premier League clubs releasing kits in October is pathetic. I don't care who the blame lies with, it's terrible. Everything else about the club is top class these days, somebody needs to sort it out.

Nothing new about the club being extremely late releasing away kits, its been the same since I can remember.

We may be premier league with the associated stadium and club shop but we're conference standard when it comes to our retail operations.

Can't really disagree with this. Everything about the club now seems professional, efficient and geared toward raising income, apart from the Blue shirt that the chairman does not want? Very suspicious.

Pretty obvious if they released all 3 colours together then there would be a lack of sales for the red shirt. Blue will probably be the last one to be released. And they will most probably be limited numbers.

I've just ordered the red one with Medel on the back. Fed up of waiting for the other kits. They most likely won't come out until after Christmas. Tan will want parents to buy children the red kit for Christmas. Its just common sense from a marketing perspective.

Never mind replica kits, they have stopped selling programme binders. Frankly, unbelievable.
