has anyone bought a kindle,i buy my books in second hand shops,and
was wondering if kindles were any good.

Yeah they great I used to buy all my books second hand online, am now used to using the kindle. you can also download plenty of torrents for a kindle.

I bought 11,000 books on ebay for kindle for £2.49, 10,950 odd were crap but there were some good ones.

Price range differs have a look on amazon, the kindle worth the money tho.

There are lots of places to get free books for the kindle in mobi format!

I bought a nook instead of a kindle, was £29 and works perfectly fine for reading books. Not sure what else the kindles can do though.

I'm more of an iPad fan myself, I read a book most nights plus got loads more features than the kindle!

Theyre great! use mine everyday and theyre much cheaper than hard back.

Cant beat actually having the book on your shelf to read imo, handy for space though. I would never buy one though i like to have the actual book.

I agree, I just use it for travelling, holidays etc normally. Spent a lot of time on buses in the summer and it's easier than carrying around a load of books.

They are good millions of books all sorts of prices, and games apps ,mags ,
