I sold my collection on ebay last year mate, but struggled like hell to shift them.

Good luck, but I had to sell a lot of them for less than I originally paid.

That's the way it goes I'm afraid, if you've got mostly records that got in the top 40 back in the 70's/80's, then you;re going to get very little for them, they sold loads. Genuine rarities, now that's a different matter. If you want a rough idea of what you can hope to get, then discogs.com is the best site to check out what other people are asking for their vinyl.
