There was an article either in the Expresss or the sun yesterday which questioned whether we got the firepower to stay up?
Last season at times we created very little and in the last third were quite boring.. some games having only one or two efforts on target,
When you think of our efforts on goal against Fulham... it was outstanding but we had to wait for a wonder goal in injury time to secure three points.
With Odemwingie playing out wide and Cornelius injured.. we have the same firepower as last season are we missing another goalscorer up front. ie play two up front
Should Mutch start before Gunnarsson... he gave the ball away to often yesterday and missed another header in front of goal

Id be more worried if gunnar was not getting in the positions to score but he is, the goals will come for him no doubt he always seems to be in the right place

bringing odemwinge in certainly helps things, and of course we are all waiting to see what type of player cornelius will be.
i dont think its a problem though, we wont score hatfuls of goals this season, but then we dont need to really.

This is the premier league. It seems more about not losing rather than winning (which is the championship way).
Draw every game in the PL and you normally stay up, draw every game in the championship and you are usually relegated.
Apart from a few games they are usually tight affairs with not many goals, again generally unlike the championship.
We have to adapt to this and not worry about a lack of goals, as long as we do not concede many, then we will be safe - sounds obvious when put like that eh?
MM has it sorted, he knows what he is doing, and with a bit of luck, and better refereeing, we will be fine this season. Imagine what players he would bring in if we were an established PL team, unlike now where we are one of the favourites for relegation.
