His "Dashboard" is truly somethingelse. Shame I cant get it in figure format but basically he misplaced one pass and lost one tackle al game.

No mention for Jose Canas though

What credit do you want me to give? I said Medel is a good player and have never stated otherwise. Im just making the point £11m is a lot for someone that does no more than Canas... Which the stats show.

You said you have spent £30m and still expect to go down, i suggested maybe spending less than £11m on medel and buying midfielders like canas who do the same would allow you to strengthen elsewhere

Stats are not the only way to judge of course and this just reconfirms what those of us who watched both games and formed an opinion were saying in that Medel was more influential.

And i havent heard anyone try to say canas was better than medel yesterday Canas was up against a midfield worth more than the whole fulham side

As i said polo, all or nothing. Are you for stats or against them? You seem to be advocating them when in favour of medel and rubbishing them when they go against him. That screams an agenda. Medel however naturally had a better game as a result however canas is okaying slightly better overall and has played more illustrious opponents. These are facts. We could do with a stat showing how many yds/miles etc Medel covers during a game compared to canals or Britton etc... I bet he covers way more ground than either and is present In more field positions...
