When I saw the fixture list back in June I thought we'd be lucky to have 4 or 5 points at this stage with Hull being the winnable game.
8 points from 6 is fantastic given that the fixture list includes man city, spurs and Everton all top 6 clubs.
The majority of the players have adapted well to the premier league. Going through the team from Marshall to Campbell I believe we have a squad more than capable of attaining mid table.
David Marshall has done brilliantly and is one of top 6 or 7 keepers. The one thing that let's him down is his kicking.
Kevin T-c looks very promising and with experience he has potential to be a top full back.
Andy Taylor has many critics on here but he is a dependable unspectacular player. He's certainly not one of better players but always gives 100%.
Ben Turner has been immense and probably surprised a lot of people. His defending has been top notch. He needs to improve distribution but has been most improved player.
Caulker is quality. Say no more.
Gary Medel has been signing of summer. Does simple things well and is pure class.
Rest of squad has done pretty well with Bellamy probably being the only disappointment although his influence in the dressing room is pivotal.
Looking forward to rest of season and hopefully 50 points.
