Ell Pitbull, what a waste of money

Sat Sep 28, 2013 9:15 pm

Thats what I got from a Liverpool supporting work mate when we signed him, think the waste of money was what they paid the Jacks for someone they thought would do a similar job to Medel and at 4 million more :ayatollah:

Watched the extended highlights on Sky earlier and his performance was as good a DM performance you will see all season.

Tackles, interceptions, blocks, passing accuracy.

He was flawless today.

If Roathie wants to know why we paid 10m for him get a tape of todays game.

Its not like it's even much money.

After all you could see why Betis were so keen to give canas away with today's performance.

Watched it online.

Ive said in another thread - He was good, but again being over hyped due to the price tag. He did his job simply and did it well. No more than what Canas did today yet because he cost us next to nothing the gushing doesnt materialise. Its the same when Bony plays, people are falling over themselves to justify the price tag.

If Britton did the exact same performance against you, the board would be saying "crab Britton", "only passes side ways amd backwards" etc etc

My point was never that he isnt a good player, hes very good. But hes not worth £11m in my opinion, especially when you are lacking in other areas.

People have stated his passing accuracy and defensive play as a reason hes worth every penny, well Canas has the same accuracy yet makes more defensive plays - yet Medel is better according to them, cant quite work it out. Ive asked you and you worm your way out if answering, you cant answer.

Its the hypocrisy and bias is what im pointing out. I expect a bit, but if you arent going to give a genuine opinion in fabour of sheer one eyed bias - then whats the point in giving it at all.

One thing I've noticed is the bitterness from the glory supporters towards Cardiff fans since we've got to the prem.

It's like they are kinda gutted that they didn't support Cardiff before and now haven't got the balls to because they don't want to be exposed as the plastics they are.

Paid over the odds for him?? That's abit hypocritical coming from a Liverpool fan even if it was true... Carrol? Henderson? Allen? Suarez (the fact that he's banned more often than not)??... That's what you call over paying the odds and that's just to name a few!! lol
