' ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT '

What a day, what a result.

After last weeks late defeat to Spurs and the same at West Ham it is brilliant to be dishing out last minute winners ourselves.

In truth I was happy to come away with the point but that goal by Mutch and the scenes of celebration that followed make away days special.

It was already a cracking day out but the result topped it gloriously.

Gary Medel was absolute class today, he did not stop running, his movement was top drawer, he is an absolute top player and when Malky says he believes he has signed one of the top three players in the world in that position it is hard to disagree.

Caulker and Turner looked solid today, thought Marshall was dependable as ever and in fairness don't think many keepers would have stopped that goal, if any.

I was directly behind the shot and honestly thought it was sailing wide and by some margin, when it curled into the top corner, it was a goal to applaud, it was that good.

Our first ever Premier League away win and our first top flight away win since 1961 has turned out to be a special day.

The full backs looked good today as well.

Malky made a brave decision in replacing Bellamy with Odemwingie in the starting line up and some of his touches showed glimpses of what we can expect to see in coming weeks when his match fitness picks up.

All in all a brilliant day, a good venue despite the parking issues.

I will probably have a drink or two on the way home

TC lost Berbatov once or twice, but it's to be expected in a new league.

We do the basics very well and as the season goes on I think we will get better going forward.

Got back an hour ago and now watching MOTD. Great day and superb to see the Putney end completely Cardiff. Medel an absolute stalwart-what a trooper. Malky bringing Mutch on for in-form KBY brave and a masterstroke. Not liking how KBY is being targeted for pro-fouls and refs need to be alerted on this as Spurs did the same. Broad results today suggest the PL is wide open and we are looking OK. A lot gets decided in ET and Mutch's goal was sublime. I'm of course biased but Marshall is not only our best player but for me proving he's the PL's best GK. Happy Days and hope everyone had a top one and safe journey home. Let's all do the Malky.

People would've been happy with 2 draws from these but one win and a loss is a lot better!
