Outstanding team display

Controlled the game for long periods against an established top flight outfit full of quality. Gary Medel was incredible today. Such a wonderful footballer

From what I've heard and I saw of the game, I agree. I do have one big criticism though, and it's about some of the decisions made by the team.
Like just after we scored, we had a spell of dominance where our corners were looking dangerous, Fulham were struggling to defend them. What happens? Whittingham takes a short corner, we waste the ball and Fulham break. Why on earth?
Bellamy towards the end of the game with that freekick 35 yards out. Why is he shooting when we can play the ball in the box where we have an advantage.
Nothing major, but we do seem to make some baffling choices at times when it looks like the decisions are simple. I've noticed we do things like this quite often during our games.
