CITY PLAYER WITH THE MOST SHOTS TO DATE

Fri Sep 27, 2013 8:14 pm

Did you know that Peter Whittingham has had the most shots of any City player so far this season in the league, 11 shots.

3 on target, 5 off target and 3 shots blocked.

:ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Not sure if Whitts got that many shots off in the first 5 games last season as he was playing so deep, looks like we are seeing a more attacking Whittingham this season.

:ayatollah: :ayatollah:

11 shots from one player! Surely that can't be right Carl?

According to the experts here, all we've done is defend

Out of our 1742 total passes to date 272 have been long ball passes. :ayatollah:

And yes before anyone asks Ben Turner has attempted the most long ball passes with 48 of which 16 have been accurate. :ayatollah:

That's right, when I knew a week or so before Ince arrived in Cardiff and the medical was booked, I assumed like the majority who knew these facts that it was indeed a done deal. I called every other signing before they happened, so everyone forgave the rare faux pas with the Ince deal

I'm not sure what that has to do with the topic on hand but there you go. According to you and the Ilk of your experts we're a Hoofball outfit :laughing6:, but Mr Curtis stats above has put that little jack fantasy on the back burner eh.

Tottenham are the only side we deserved to lose against in our last four games. We're going to get stronger as we become more accustomed to the top flight. We've already beaten one of the best and barring a run of bad luck with injuries/suspensions we'll be as tough to beat all season

Thanks for your concerns though :laughing6:

On your final point you are quite correct that spuds were so relieved to get a 92nd minute winner with CCFC having a goal contraversially disallowed and us having a couple of late misses when we were on top.Spuds celebrated like they'd won the CL and were well quiet up to that point. It's all about game plans and Malky's came very close to working 100% on that occasion.

Keep up the good work lads, this Premier League is a dawdle remember :thumbright:

I remember you. You're the one who said we'd get battered most weeks. Anymore pearls of wisdom?

I'm so flattered. I remember you too. You're the one who said the Ince deal was a done deal. Any more pearls of wisdom? :laughing6:

I still think you'll get battered most weeks. I may be right, I may be wrong.

Let's see what happens when you have to move the parked bus and open up a bit :thumbright:

That's right, when I knew a week or so before Ince arrived in Cardiff and the medical was booked, I assumed like the majority who knew these facts that it was indeed a done deal. I called every other signing before they happened, so everyone forgave the rare faux pas with the Ince deal

I'm not sure what that has to do with the topic on hand but there you go. According to you and the Ilk of your experts we're a Hoofball outfit :laughing6:, but Mr Curtis stats above has put that little jack fantasy on the back burner eh.

Tottenham are the only side we deserved to lose against. We're going to get stronger as we become more accustomed to the top flight. We've already beaten one of the best and barring a run of bad luck with injuries/suspensions we'll be as tough to beat all season

Thanks for your concerns though :laughing6:

You've played the second lowest number of short passes in the league and have the highest percentage of long balls. Yep, Mr Curtis has really put that on the back burner eh? :laughing6:

As for your future prospects, as I said, let's see what happens when you have to move the bus :thumbright:

Our attacking options already look a whole lot brighter with that top class forward we blew you out of the water to get. I'm sure we'll be eternally grateful come what May

Well ignored :laughing6:

As for your "top class" forward, I'm more than happy for you to overpay for him. That's your business model, not ours :thumbright:

Overpaid

Is that the same as the overpaid price you paid for the Ivorian Jason Scotland

Aye, the 6 goals from 7 starts for Bony so far is a shocking record :laughing6:

I suppose it does sound better when you add in scoring against Birmingham and Malmo rather than say just the one league goal scored from your £12m Jason Scotland
