Some of the hoofballs from Turner are because Marshall is not very good at kicking so he passes it to Turner to kick, while others are because there is no outlet in space, there isn't a player unmarked. Therefore, if anyone is to be blamed it's the team for not working harder to be in space or the opposition for having the cheek to press forward.

you find its same for all the midfield players who are high in passing stakes, they choose nearest player normally to pass to! don't go by such stats as they don't tell the story in full,

Medel was again amazing today... Worth every penny of that £11M... Work rate was immense... Saw him run up and down the pitch all day and keep defence really solid.

Just my opinion, but I can't imagine that turner is being told to play lovely 5 yard passes and he's deciding for himself to smash the thing up field instead. If he was doing so bad, then why isn't Hudson in the starting lineup.

The team just won, he played and he gets grief! What do we want him to do? You know what he ain't rio Ferdinand , get over it.

I think Turner is doing well and if England are looking at him and he is still young then he cant be doing a lot wrong so I think some on here are harsh on turner. Yes Medel is doing great but so are the whole team I think they have stepped up really well and Turner and Coulker are going to be a class partnership for the future

Medel has to be one of the signings of the summer. He's just a rock in midfield and impresses me more each game, his work rate and yards covered must be high also. He does the ugly stuff and loves his job, pure class.
