A forum for all things Cardiff City

First of all I would like to thank Vincent Tan for putting his money into our club. The strides we have made both on and off the pitch since Tans arrival is truly astonishing. The historical debts have been paid, a new state of art training ground is being built, the stadium is being expanded and improved in all areas, the academy is going from strength to strength, the playing squad is the best in Cardiff Citys history and most importantly we will soon be a debt free club (I have no reason to disbelieve Tan as every other promise has been kept). So thank you Mr Tan.
Next I'd like to thank Malky. IMO the greatest City manager in my lifetime (I'm 29). From the moment you took over our club you installed professionalism and work ethic that had sadly been lacking under previous regimes. You got it spot on getting rid of the prima-donnas and only having players that will give 100% for the cause. Obviously mistakes have been made but nobody is perfect and you have got far more right than you have wrong. Tactically you have been spot on this season, we are privlidged to have you as our manager.
I'd also like to thank the players for the enormous effort you put into every game. It fills me with pride how each and every one of you will sweat blood for the cause. I know they are on loads of money but so are all players and you won't find a team that put more effort in than our boys anywhere in the world.
The dream is coming true and all I here is negativity on this board. I just don't get it! We have an owner and manager who are winners and both will take us to our full potential I truly believe that. Gone are the days where we would lose 4-0 at home to Cambridge united and get relegated to division 4 (that's something to moan about!) These are the good times we won't go down and next season we will be playing in front of 33 thousand as a mid-table premier league team. The year after it will be 40 odd thousand. It won't be easy this season but we will stay up and we will fulfil our potential.
Enjoy the ride, we have never had it so good. The sleeping giants awake and in the near future he will be wide awake

Shouldn't you be putting this in a letter or email to the club rather than blubbering on a forum that malky or the players don't read.

Wouldn't surprise me if a few read the forums, they seem pretty clued up when there being slated..

Totally agree with this refreshingly positive post
With both Vincent Tan and Malky working hard to progress, current fans (young and old) have never had it so good

I agree, I will never respect Tan, but you cannot ignore the good that the man has done for the club too.
It's a very emotive situation.

It's a shame it was conditional on this ludicrous rebrand . He could have invested without doing what he has done, the same as every other foreign owner . Cue posts re millions from shirt sales in china . Simply don't buy any of that . That's be done to death anyhow.
Your underlying point is wholly valid mind , clearly wouldn't be in the prem without the loans he's ploughed in for players .
