I'd just like to point out that 'Bluebird 37' does not speak on behalf of BU so any comments are his own, I'm not even sure why he keeps copying members comments from the BU facebook page and posting them as if they were official statements.

Maybe that's the intention, I've got no idea, it certainly doesn't help our cause. This is one of the problems with a 'faceless' messageboard.

On the contary, to be honest it was (in my opinion) the most productive meeting so far, we had a good 90 minutes of discussion. Previous meetings there has been very little in the way of suggestions 'from the floor', I came away feeling very positive after tonights meeting.

what about the numbers Jon,this was advertised on Bu Facebook at least a week ago and barley fifty turned up,i thought you had thousands on the Facebook site.

There are thousands on the facebook site but obviously no-one would expect them all to turn up!

I'm not in a position to answer what other peoples reasons may have been for not going, you'll have to ask them. All I can comment on is how the meeting went and it went really well

The problem with BU is pretty much the same one I have with UKIP. In principle I fully agree with their ideas, but every little social outcast with little common sense and a well greased keyboard jumps on the bandwagon and wrecks it.
