WE'LL PARK WHERE WE WANT

Tue Sep 24, 2013 10:55 pm

Pulling into Upton Park, police were waiting on the corner to orchestrate the fans.

One of the coppers came to the drivers window and asked 'What you looking for lads ?'

'We're Cardiff !!!'

' oh right sorry you're away fans, take your bus and park it behind the OTHER away coach'

Been many years to only have had one coach at an away game and they way the copper said it was funny

Did everyone on Dibs bus make it home do you know Carl?

Really concerned for a mate up who hasnt turned up for work this morning and we cant get hold of him.

Reading Facebook it appears he and his son may have been jumped at West Ham last night?

Chris I spoke to Dibs about an hour after the game and I know he was still waiting to hear at that time whether or not the two had released before the bus left London.

Cheers Carl.

Managed to get hold of his nephew looks like they were kept overnight.

Not a troublemaker in the slightest but as touched on a few times I think this year normal fans are going to get bushwhacked because of Cardiffs reputation.

Been to many an away game where we only had one coach.

1982 we played Lincoln at Sincil Bank. Lincoln were top we were second. The away end was packed and they had to extend us to part of the Grandstand. I lost count how many coaches we took. The ground was at full capacity

That season we got promoted but the following season we were back down.

So that take us into 1985 when we returned to Lincoln. We were bottom with Lincoln also involved in the relegation fight. The ground was 3/4 empty and we only filled a quarter of the away stand. We had one coach there.

Two seasons we went from top support to dire. I wonder what will happen if we don't survive.
