From what I heard on radio wales odemwingie, noone and Jordan mutch in particular played well tonight and impressed. Something for malky to think about lets hope he ain't too stubborn and give these lads a shot.

I'm a big Jordon Mutch fan but wouldn't put him ahead of Medel or Gunnarson with the way the 2 are playing. I think Odemwingie ahead of Campbell could be a possibility despite Campbell's work rate and 2 goals. Also Noone instead of Bellamy at home against Newcastle where I feel we need to go for the win

Same here I like mutch and he's got the potential to be better than Gunnarson, he just needs to be consistent grab his chance then stay there, give him a shot against Fulham or Newcastle I say instead of Gunnar. Odemwingie gonna get us more goals than anyone so put him up top cos with his goal return he will be wasted out wide. And noone for whittingham for me either dropping whittingham or playing whits instead of Kim, whitts is shit as a winger no threat going forward imo

I think Whittingham has been excellent so far this season. He's more likely to retain possession or open up a defence and that's why I would keep him wide left. He also seems to have a good understanding with Taylor and looks to have improved with his defensive positioning

Gunnarsson had a shocker Sunday.
Mutch in I say.

I thought Mutch had an excellent game tonight and must be pushing Gunnar for starting place on Saturday
noone and odemwinge were both a bit in and out of the game for me.....if noone could put a shift in for the whole game, he could be a revelation
that said, I think Ballars has had a poor start to the season and so he must be sweating on a place for saturday
not sure what has happened to Brayford.....he was awful tonight. Anyone got the inside knowledge - has he had a bust up with Malky?

Mutch was superb tonight. Noone had a very poor first half, pulled a cracker out the bag on halftime which gave him a lift and he had a very good second half.

I wouldn't have whitts as a winger but i don't think he could displace Kim in his role noone and odemwingie on the wings for me with Campbell in attack

I thought Gunnarson had a shocker against Tottenham. He does not appear to have got back to full fitness and his touch against Tottenham was terrible. Every time he touched the ball he gave it away. I was amazed that MM did not replace him with Mutch. Gunnar normally performs well but it must have been an off day. If he continues to play like that then he needs to be replaced by Mutch.
Noone has been ignored for too long. He should be on the bench at least because he is a player that can unlock a defence if needed. He can run at pace, gives us width, crosses the ball well and scores goals. Also decent from set pieces.
Odemwingie looked very good when he came on against Spurs. Do nit know how he performed last night but probably not yet match fit for a Premiership start.

Think Mutch should start in replacement of Gunnar, Odemwingie in for Bellamy too.
