Ive heard some great chants over the years from city fans chopra and his he bets where he wants was 1 that sticks in the memory but odemwinge warming up under the canton on sunday and the stand sang he signs where he wants just tickled me and as I looked down at the player he was visually chuckling and clapped the fans hes a lad and he loves it I think he will be a big big hero on and off the pitch for city this season in the same mould as eddie johnson and leo leo before him I love the sense of humour on city fans and I cant wait for 3700 of us to travel to the capital saturday for the next chapter of peter odemwinge in his dinghy

He seems like a really decent guy. Definitely going to be a fans favourite (especially if he scores a few goals!)

Really feel for him, had a tough time receiving abuse from his own fans on Twitter etc and not been accepted by his team and this is a new start for him. Seems like a decent lad.

Seems proper down to Earth and he was obviously made a scapegoat in what happened at WBA. Im not saying he didn't do anything wrong but other parties did too yet he took the full brunt of it and the ridicule.

Yeah for sure! I think the QPR fiasco was all based on bad advice given to PO that day.
We'll have to wait for his autobiography!

Have a good feeling that for all the right reasons and timing that he is gong to do well for us. The chants from the Canton were pure class. There was an excellent OP a little while ago that detailed a transcript from a Baggies fan who he met at his home that gave some insight as to his character and motivation. He drives where he wants.

Malkay Mackay believes West Brom short-changed themselves in their sale of Peter Odemwingie to Cardiff City.
The Nigeria striker impressed in a cameo appearance on his debut against Tottenham on Sunday and is set to feature in a heavily-changed side for Tuesday night's Capital One Cup clash against West Ham.
Odemwingie spent the past seven months in the wilderness at West Brom after the debacle of his aborted move to QPR before Mackay bagged the 32-year-old for around £2.5million.
