Get real

Sun Sep 22, 2013 11:01 pm

We gave it our all against a very good side. I myself am really disappointed. But remember how far we have come in such a short space of time under Malky. Look at our home opposition. It's hardly a disaster. We need to continue to get behind the bioys as they gave everything for the cause.
Also - We City fans were fantastic today. I've come back knackered having shouted so much. :ayatollah:

Well said. The negativity tonight is disgraceful but the majority of fans slaggging the team off probably only started supporting us since we got to Wembley.

That goal was a real sickener and put everyone on a proper downer so it's not surprising that there are mostly negative posts.
(Although most seem to be posted during/immediately after the game which, knowing the CCS signal means that they weren't there and had the pleasure of a Romanian stream to watch it on, which of course affects things)
I have to agree with everything you've said though.

4 points from Man C, Everton and Spurs is amazing. More than any of the moaners on here could have wished for!

The real test comes against the teams in our 'mini-league' when we can go at them and they have ALOT less quality than the teams we have played here so far.

I don't think anyone has been slagging off the team - most people just expect us to take the game to the opposition a bit more when we are at home. Spurts are among the clubs that will win this league, so a good effort from us to still be in the game, but surely you have to agree that if it wasn't for Marshall it could have been several more. We aren't going to win games if we don't create enough chances.

If I was a Cardiff fan I'd be over the moon over the start you've made and your main priority is premiership survival and then build for next and gradually build to move up the league. You've lost 1-0 against Spurs who had a quality side before spending £100m in the summer. What do fans expect when playing against teams like that?

Us Brighton fans know when we reach the premiership the main goal for the first season is just to survive and that means coming 4th bottom then great.
