fantastic effort but We need help

Sun Sep 22, 2013 8:09 pm

great team effort today Imconcerned that tottenham had 29 attempts at goal 'away from home' although they are a good side we need some help in january, firstly on the creativity side of things - a second defender that can play a passing game. and 2 prolific and clinical attacking players.

if we get 60% of my request I would be happy.

were prepared to go to war with anyone in this league but we need more men on the frontline if were to comfortably avoid the drop without worrying times

You mean 1.8 players

Agree we need more creativity but we also have to win the battles in midfield first

at times we did ok in midfield just nothing ahead so didn't creat anything from possession until odemwingie came on, so if he plays up front we should improve especially against lower half sides :old:

I thought the game just passed gunner by but I agree when we get the ball we need more options. Odemwingie did so well to get to the byline and pulled it back perfectly.

I understand where you're coming from but with one up front you need players getting forward to support regularly we don't do that.
Also, one up front suggests. We're intent on playing on the break, but we very rarely look at bombing forward unexpectedly. One time first half today there was a decent break on, Whitts in possession carrying the ball with an inviting 30 yards of open space for Taylor to overlap, but he chose to just jog in behind .
The worst thing for me still though is our insistence to bring everybody back for corners, Marshall (who's glove work was brilliant today) had the ball on a few occasions today with nobody to give it to.
We conceded at Hull last week after clearing a corner, but Huddlestone had nobody closing him down when he swung in his excellent cross. Malky won't change with some things though!
