Well said. When we played Bristol city in a cup replay a few years ago, there was just 6,800 in the ccs. It's a nothing rivalry.

I was a storekeeper, and plenty of drivers delivered in Cardiff, (out of Avonmouth). Mainly Bristol City, but some Gas too. As recently as 2009/10, we played Bristol City four times, and Rovers once, in the same season. So, with respect, it's not 'nonsense'.

But Bristol is a big city, with two clubs. They really hate each other! But BCFC,in particular, certainly rate us as rivals. Not what it was, fair enough, but cup crowds are notoriously low. In fact, if my memory serves me right, we payed Bristol City three times in a month in early 2010. In the worst weather for many years. League gates, in recent seasons, stand up well. It's only just stopped being a bubble, too.

I bet if you asked everyone inside the ccs on a Saturday 98% would say your biggest rivals were us. I know you like to try and belittle us by saying you hate brizzle city more than us like you don't care enough about us, but watching your derby with us compared to brizzle the atmosphere is far more hostile, you sing about "are you watching jack b@stards" or "in the Swansea slums", I never hear anti Bristol City songs. What's more, 99% of their fans would say they hated the gas more than you.

Generations may say different based on where they were in the league at a certain time but your biggest and most hated rivals are us and ditto, it does my head in on our boards when our fans have a go if you slag Cardiff off because we shouldn't care about you, we're in Europe, why waste our time hating you bla bla, the fact is you're our main rivals, if you went out of business id still hate Cardiff and vice versa, it's a great rivalry.

If we went out of business, there would be nobody for you to hate, just the place. Which sort of adds to what I said. You do realise that a large % of CCFCs support comes from outside the city, don't you?

But you're right, the vast majority of our fans would see Swansea as our main rivals. Just not all of us.

Interesting that some of your fans, too, think that you should ignore us. Again sort of adds to what I'm trying to say. This 'South Wales derby' is fairly recent. Not like other rivalries that go back still further. Seems a bit manufactured to me. But I'm in a minority.

It's keeping many Cardiff fans from posting on here, more often than not good threads get hijacked and ruined, it's a f*cking shambles how it's allowed to happen time and time again
